The Leavenworth Commissary Kitchen is a commercially licensed kitchen for rent to chefs, caterers, farmers, food procesors, bakers, food trucks, ghost kitchens and more. The mission of the Commissary Kitchen is to enhance our local food system and extend the profit season for our local farms by providing a space to cook, process, and preserve foods. 

 

We received a grant from the WSDA Local Food Infrastructure Equipment Plus Program to install a hood and range in the kitchen this spring. We are currently seeking a variety of used equipment to outfit the kitchen, listed below. If you are interested in donating or selling any of the equipment on our list, please email cali@cascademarkets.org with photos, prices, and details.​

Kitchen Logistics

We anticipate hourly pricing for kitchen use to average around $25/hour (not including storage). Discounts will be available for high frequency use, vendors of our Farmers Markets, nonprofits, and farms.

 

The Kitchen will be reserved on a first come first served basis with a maximum of 2 users at a time. All users will be required to secure insurance prior to using the Kitchen and for anything other than personal use, a business license and health department approval will also be required at a minimum.​​​
